Are Race's Castoffs Fighting Mad?

Lake and Michelle of CBS' The Amazing Race (Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET) have been called this season's Jonathan and Victoria. Argumentative. Snappy. They pecked at each other almost right up to the moment they were eliminated in Greece. Married for almost 15 years, the Mississippi dental team — he's a dentist, she's his office assistant — swear they're a lot nicer to each other in real life. No, really.

TVGuide.com: Your accents are so charming — except for when you're mad!
Lake:
Well...
Michelle: When else do you get to hear us talking? [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: Speaking of that, Lake, you were really mean to Michelle. At one point in Greece you even said something like, "Bitch, just shut up!" How did you explain tha  Read Full Article

Pint-Size Racer Does Battle

On The Amazing Race 5, Charla Faddoul (along with her cousin Mirna Hindoyian) proved that just because she's small doesn't mean she's not a force to be reckoned with. At 4 feet tall (due to a form of dwarfism), she carried a 55-lb. side of beef half a mile and survived a run-in with an electric fence. Now she's back on Battle of the Network Reality Stars (premiering tonight at 9 pm/ET), Bravo's newly revamped version of the '70s series. TVGuide.com gave Charla a ring to talk about her stellar jousting skills and the never-say-die attitude she displayed while facing Swan winner Rachel Love-Fraser.TVGuide.com: What are you doing these days? Charla Faddoul: I m read more

TAR's Bowling Moms Strike Out

When The Amazing Race started back in July, who would've guessed that a pair of fortysomething bowling moms from California would make it past the third leg, let alone end up finishing in fourth place? With their boundless energy and enthusiasm, Linda and Karen proved that age ain't nothin' but a number. Here, these peppy ladies tell TV Guide Online all about their excellent adventure.

TV Guide Online: How's it feel to be TAR's first all-female team to reach the top four?
Karen:
I was surprised at how far we made it. Linda wasn't — she knew that we could do it all along.
Linda: At every pit stop, we would look at each other and go, "Oh my gosh, we made another round!" And it just kept going.

TVGO: When did you feel your fortunes change on the last leg?
Karen:
When we left the pit stop, we were in second place, but we had to run around the corner and up the street to get a taxi. Meanwhile, Brandon and read more

Pray for TAR's Brandon and Nicole

They weren't as savvy as winners Chip and Kim — nor as scarily intense as Colin and Christie — but Brandon and Nicole had the potential to pull off an upset victory on The Amazing Race. Ultimately, the religiously minded models finished third, a strong showing considering the stiff competition. With the globe-trotting contest behind them, they're already looking ahead to their next gigs. And no, they're not mad at God over their loss. Well, one of them might be.... TVGO: Was it hard to watch the finale knowing the outcome?Brandon: It's hard to watch and see yourself not win. Last night kind of reopened the wound.Nicole: I'm used to not winning, so it wasn't as hard for me. Brandon's always on top, but I've come in third a couple of times — Miss USA, The Amazing Race... Third's just my lucky number. Good things come from third place. [Laughs] TVGO: How'd it feel when y read more

TAR's Colin and Christie: "We're Nice"

Occasional tantrums aside, Colin and Christie were probably the strongest team to run this season of The Amazing Race, finishing first six times over the course of the contest. Still, certain unpleasant incidents (the "I'm packin' it!" comment, anyone?) overshadowed their achievements. Here, the newly engaged couple tries to set the record straight about their real life versus what you saw on reality TV. TV Guide Online: Congrats on your engagement. How long had you been planning that stunt, Colin?Colin: I planned it during the race because I knew we'd be doing The Early Show, either after we got eliminated or at the end. For a while, I was thinking about doing it at the finish line, but I didn't have the bling. You can't propose empty-handed. So I decided to wait, and it ended up being a blessing in disguise because proposing on national TV means you don't have to call the whole family — they all find out at once.
