Premise: This `ghoul comedy' is based on Charles Addams' cartoons, which appeared in the New Yorker and featured such characters as Morticia, Gomez and Uncle Fester. The series lasted for two seasons on ABC, a run that coincided (spookily?) with CBS's `The Munsters.' `The Addams Family' also spun off a couple of animated series; and, in the '90s, two theatrical films with Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston.
