Star Ian Somerhalder took home the surfboard for both Choice Male Hottie and Choice TV Actor (sci-fi/fantasy) while his co-star Nina Dobrev won Choice TV Actress (sci-fi/fantasy). Michael Trevino won Choice Male TV Scene Stealer with his on-screen love Candice Accola winning Choice Female TV Scene Stealer. Additionally, the series won for Choice TV Show (sci-fi/fantasy).

Glee star Kevin McHale will co-host the Teen Choice Awards with Demi Lovato, Fox announced on Thursday.
"Demi and I have been friends for years, and I'd like to thank her for letting me in on the fun co-hosting Teen Choice 2012," McHale said. "It's exciting to finally be working together professionally and I'd like to welcome her to the FOX family. This is going to be a great show."
