Premise: Ron Ely plays the ape man, protecting his animal friends against poachers and other unsavory types. Cheetah's still hanging around, but in this version, Jane's nowhere to be seen and Tarzan's an educated man who eschews society for the freedom of the jungle, and befriends an orphan named Jai.
