Premise: Norwegian journalist Paul Refsdal's "Taliban: Behind the Masks" documentary, in which a Taliban commander offered him unfettered access to his band of fighters, is interspersed with Anderson Cooper's incisive questioning of the war correspondent, which fleshes out the footage and also explores why he risked his life to get it. (Refsdal was eventually held hostage for six days.) The documentary portion captures the fighters' day-to-day lives, and includes footage of an attack on a U.S. convoy.
