An array of characters sought a mysterious golden idol in this adventure series. Set in the 1930s South Pacific, it tried for an Indiana Jones-like matinee-serial style. Among the pursuers was American pilot Jake Cutter, who flew a battered airplane frequently repaired by his usually intoxicated buddy Corky. Cutter's other friends included a local magistrate; a barroom singer (who was really an American spy); and a one-eyed dog.
