The trailer for HBO's Taking Chance which is based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl (Bacon), a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming. Taking Chance will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January and will air on HBO in February 2009.

Known as the "Oscars for indies," the uncensored, party-like ceremony is broadcast live from a tent on the beach in Santa Monica, Cal. Ballast, Frozen River, Rachel Getting Married, Wendy and Lucy and The Wrestler are Best Feature contenders. Acting nominees include Anne Hathaway, Javier Bardem, Michelle Williams, Sean Penn and Debra Winger.
