Swift Show
An early variety series that mixed everything from music and comedy to quiz and fashion segments. A constant was crooner Lanny Ross, who at one point hosted the series from his supposed penthouse. From March 1949 on, the format was strictly revue, with a rep company that included Max Showalter and Frank Fontaine (later known as Crazy Guggenheim on `The Jackie Gleason Show').
