A celebrated (and costly) NBC anthology flop that told stories of passengers aboard an atomic-powered express called the Supertrain. While the set was impressive---this train had a swimming pool and a disco, among other amenities---the stories were disjointed and bland. The heavily hyped but little watched show was first retooled, then canceled, and the series is now remembered chiefly as one of the medium's all-time turkeys.
