Phew! It looks like Castiel will somehow make it out of Supernatural's angel war (relatively) unscathed because Misha Collins will return next year as a series regular, TVGuide.com has learned.

For better or for worse, Supernatural: Bloodlines is finally here. Set in Chicago, the potential spin-off features fledgling hunter Ennis (Lucien Laviscount), who discovers Chicago is run by five Mafioso monster families, including shape-shifters David (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Margo Hayden (Danielle Savre) and werewolves Julian (Sean Faris) and Violet Durant (Melissa Roxburgh).

The pilot, which will air as a Supernatural episode next Tuesday, features the Winchester boys (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) traveling to Chicago where they run into a police academy trainee, Ennis, whose fiancé becomes collateral damage of a monster war.
