Premise: Aaron Spelling's sole foray into daytime was a glossy campfest about a Southern L.A. beach town where hard bods and bad dialogue collided. Originally about a Midwest escapee seeking her online love, things quickly shifted to big-budget stunts and stories taken from the big screen, such as a `Scream'-inspired serial killer.
