Premise: World War II brings dramatic changes to a Melbourne family headed by Dave and Grace Sullivan, who are parents to three sons and a daughter. Stories from the battlefield and on the home front involve the Sullivans, their extended family and friends. This Australian serial won several Silver Logies (the equivalent of an American Emmy) during its original 1976-83 run in Australia and featured early appearances by Mel Gibson, Sam Neill, Russell Crowe and Kylie Minogue.
