February 11, 2007: I Remember That

Three weeks ago (when the last new episode aired), I briefly whined: "When oh, when will we get to see Monique in flashbacks again?" So you know I was screaming with joy when I got my wish tonight! Not only did Monique (Kathleen York) reappear in a flashback, but we also got so many answers, as did Mike Delfino, all thanks to his hypnotherapist (Miriam Flynn). So Mike didn't kill Monique — Orson framed Mike by giving Mike his wrench back — the wrench that had Monique’s blood on it. Now we know why Mike's phone number was written on Monique's hand. We also know that Mike never dated Monique: "I'm flattered, but I'm seeing somebody." Monique: "Me, too, but he's married and I'm drunk." I do wonder what Orson told Bree when he "confessed" and told her "the truth." He said she was upset, but apparently not too upset, since she was still living with him before the ladder accident. ALSO OFF THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINE

The CW network has gotten serious about its Flirt, picking up the sitcom that casts Wayne Brady as a women's magazine's only male employee — or, for short, rare beef.... L.A. Law alum Susan Ruttan is returning to series TV — or at least trying to. She's going to work on NBC's untitled comedy about a couple of brothers boarding together. She will not be playing either man.... A role is being developed for America's Next Top Model diva Eva Pigford on Fox's proposed The Wedding Album drama, which stars Nip/Tuck's Bruno Campos. Sixties babe Connie Stevens has also come aboard.... Strong Medicine's Rosa Blasi has affixed herself to NBC's Inseparable pilot starring Christine Baranski and Ed O'Neill. read more

How about a Kathryn Morris ...

Question: How about a Kathryn Morris interview featuring some Cold Case scoop?

Answer: Done and done. At CBS' press-tour party, Ms. Morris confided that the old flame of Lilly's who was hinted at in the Jan. 8 episode will soon show up in the flesh and look a lot like Strong Medicine's Brennan Elliot. "You're going to see a different side to Lilly that you didn't expect," she said. Also, in Episode 16, Lilly will face off against a serial killer who "knows a lot about the George thing." I'm gonna take a leap of faith here and assume you Cold Casers know who this George fella is. If so, please share with the rest of us.

Premise: Two headstrong MDs---privileged Dana Stowe and tough Lu Delgado---reluctantly join forces running a women's clinic at Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Hospital. Patricia Richardson scrubbed in for the departing Janine Turner in midseason 2002. Richardson's Dr. Andy Campbell is a retired Army colonel who's every bit as opinionated and self-assured as the headstrong Lu, making for an interesting matchup. Season 6 begins with Rick Schroder joining the cast as Lu's new partner, cocky physician Dylan West.
