Stephen King's `Kingdom Hospital'
A 13-part supernatural tale set in an eerie Maine hospital that `stands on uneasy ground,' having been built at the site of an 1869 mill fire that killed dozens of child laborers. A bizarre chain of events is set in motion as a badly injured auto-accident victim arrives at the hospital and, in his unconscious state, connects with the ghost of a girl. The horror master's self-described `novelization for television' was adapted from a Danish miniseries written by Lars Von Trier.
