Premise: A divorced contractor and a widowed beautician impulsively marry, then must blend his three laid-back kids with her three compulsively neat children. The sitcom, a sort of 'Brady Bunch' meets 'Family Ties,' premiered on ABC in 1991, and was a mainstay of its 'TGIF' lineup. In the fall of 1997, this series and 'Family Matters' were picked up by CBS as it tried to build its own family-friendly Friday night.
