Premise: Animated tale, often recalled for its song lyrics (`Go Speed Racer!'), of a teen race-car driver and his girlfriend, Trixie; parents Moms and Pops; kid brother, Spritle; and monkey, Chim-Chim. Racer X, Speed's disguised brother Rex, was a regular rival. The concept was revived in 1993 as `The New Adventures of Speed Racer,' and again in 2002, when it ran on Nickelodeon under its original title.
