Space Patrol on ABC

A galaxy-hopping, time-traveling space hero was the focus of this sci-fi yarn set in the 30th century. The series began on a local West Coast station in 1950 and joined the ABC weekend daytime schedule a year later. Villains weren't killed on the show, but rather zapped by hero Buzz Corry's ray gun and rendered powerless. Star Ed Kemmer was a World War II fighter pilot.
