Question: I've been a fan of Elementary, and I really liked the story arc last season with Rhys Ifans playing Mycroft. His involvement with Watson, moving to New York, opening the restaurant, concealing from everyone that he was MI6: The whole season seemed to give a fresh twist to the Sherlock history and move it forward. This season, however, with Kitty (Ophelia Lovibond), I'm not getting what the writers are doing. I think she's beyond boring, probably because she has no real reason to be there, and she's splintering the energy I used to feel between Sherlock and Watson, and each of them to Bell and Gregson. None of the episodes this year has grabbed me. Is it just me? Do they have a story arc buried in there someplace I can't see? I'd rather they go back to a crime-of-the-week if they can't do better than this. I love your column, by the way! I can't believe how long it took me to find it, but now I never miss it. — Kay

Parents Television Council Blasts FX and Sons of Anarchy for Graphic Nudity

The Parents Television Council is denouncing FX for airing what they call "the most sexually explicit content the PTC has ever documented on basic cable."

The Nov. 11 episode of the notoriously graphic and violent Sons of Anarchy, which is in its final season and follows the dangerous exploits of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, opened with several couples having sex as they worked through the shared grief from losing a beloved friend and mentor in the previous week's episode.

Question: OMG! The Halloween episode of Black-ish was the funniest yet! Between all the pranks at home and his office (Josh getting hit was the best — twice!), the daughter deciding not to prank anymore, and the kids not going trick-or-treating because they didn't want to get diabetes, I couldn't decide what was funnier; well, maybe Josh getting hit twice in the nose was the best! However, I think the best thing of the whole episode was the ending when they came out dressed like the Jackson 5; brought back so many awesome childhood memories for me! This is the best sitcom of the 2014 season! I hope they renew it as I look forward to watching it every week! — Amy, Galloway, OH
