Episode 19 Recap: One Wild Night?!? Season 3, Episode 19

Tonight is an elimination night. We are going to lose two dancers. The dancer order last night was Danny/Sabra, Dominic/Lauren, Neil/Lacey and finally Pasha/Sabra. I thought Cat's dress was interesting. It reminds me of a formal/black-tie affair, but the dress just looks weird. It seemed rather puffy from her waist down. The opening number was fantastic. To me it was a cross between a wind-up music-box ballerina and the Matrix. The movement struck me as classic Wade, so I was surprised to find out it was Shane's routine. Tonight everyone danced solo routines - first the ladies, then the gents. Was it just me or did it seem like all the ladies except Sara just strutted/posed around the stage and didn't really dance? The gents, on the other hand, all danced and showed off their individual styles. Dom was just insane - dancing with a chair? He also wins the prize for having the longest song title of the night: "She's a Bad Mama Jama (She's Built, She's Stacked)." If I had to pick the best solos for tonight, I would say Pasha and Danny. Yes, I said Danny. I think he did a great job of interpreting the King. Pasha? All I can say is wow. I really felt like I was watching him fight an imaginary bull, and to pick a song from Strictly Ballroom was just icing on the cake. During the recaps of last night's routines, they definitely showed Dom and Lauren kissing and it was a full-on kiss. For those of you who missed the kiss last night, they had just switched cameras to a wide shot when it happened. They quickly switched back to a close-up, and if you blinked, you missed it. I wonder what is going on there, but at the same time, Lauren did not seem too upset that Dom was leaving the show. I am convinced that Dom is a big flirt. Did you see the way he was hanging all over Cat tonight? To me, that is certainly more inappropriate behavior than Ricky ever demonstrated. The bottom two ladies this week were Sara and Lauren and the bottom two gents were Neil and Dom. The dancers that received the least votes were Dom and Sara. I am pretty cool with Dom leaving. On the other hand: Sara, why oh why? She was always fun to watch, she always gave it her all. I wanted to see what other surprises she had yet to reveal. As Cat mentioned at the end of the show, this was the furthest any breaker has ever made it in three seasons. Finally, OneRepublic did their song "Apologize." I love the song; it was definitely not lip-synched, as the lead singer was off-key a bit. I've not seen a string instrument of that type in a rock band since the Stray Cats.
