Episode 16 Recap: "The Top 10" Season 3, Episode 16

Wow, Sabrina sure picked a difficult night for me to start. We're in the top 10 now, so everyone got to dance twice, once with a partner and once solo, and the audience voted on the dancers individually. I'm going to split this entry into two parts, the couples' dances and then the individual dances. The Couples Lauren and Pasha: They did a hip-hop number choreographed by Shane, and I loved it. I'm trying to decide what they were performing as in the dance. I'm thinking they were zombies that were trying to crawl out of the grave, but everyone else there seemed to think they were Transformers. Sabra and Kameron: These two did a contemporary number choreographed by Tyce. All I can say is wow. Lacey and Danny: This pair's samba number was choreographed by Dmitry from last season. I'm pretty certain the ladies and some gents as well will think Dmitry was looking fine, but I thought Danny looked so uncomfortable when the routine called for him to be physically close to Lacey. I also got the impression that he can learn and perform routine without any effort on his part. But he just does not seem to connect with the audience. Lacey, on the other hand, was just stunning. Jaimie and Dominic: These two did a Viennese waltz choreographed by Toni Redpath. I couldn't seem to focus on Jaimie, but Dom came across as a clown in this routine. Sara and Neil: These guys did a disco routine choreographed by Doriana Sanchez. I loved the routine, but it didn't look very like any disco number I can remember. I also thought that Neil was just a prop for Sara. Are we sure that Sara is a B-girl? The Singles First, I was so happy, that they decided to level the playing field and have everyone dance the same routine. It definite did not look like a Wade number. Everyone but Danny got criticized for not making the number their own and giving it their own flair. I am wondering if that requirement was even explained to them. The order of dance was Jaimie, Dominic, Sara, Pasha, Lauren, Neil, Sabra, Kameron, Lacey and then Danny. Overall I liked the number, although I did think some did better than others. Still, my favorite individual dancers were Lauren and Lacey, and my top couples were Lauren and Pasha, Sabra and Kameron, and Lacey and Danny. As for who is in the bottom three this week, I really don't know. What do you guys think? For clips and online exclusives from the show, visit our new Online Video Guide. show less
