Would you believe?The new Get Smart film is hitting theaters on June 20, starring Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Adam Arkin as Maxwell Smart, Agent 99 and the Chief. Also in are Dwayne Johnson, Terence Stamp and - according to the fine print on the poster credits - former Las Vegas honcho James Caan!This isn't the first time Agent 86 will be in theaters, though! The first time was in 1980's film The Nude Bomb. Don Adams returned to the role he made famous in the 1965 television series, this time without Barbara Feldon as Agent 99. Instead he was joined by Dana Elcar (MacGyver, Baa Baa Black Sheep) as the Chief, Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuelle, Private School) as a sexy Agent 34 and Pamela Hensley (Buck Rogers, Matt Houston) as an equally easy-on-the-eyes Agent 35. Yet in just seven short years, Steve Carell has gone from being a bit player on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to a bona fide TV superstar and box-offce draw. The characters on NBC's Heroes will leap forward four months when the show returns Sept. 24 — everyone, that is, except Hiro. The time-tripping fanboy, played by Masi Oka, was suddenly teleported to 1671 Japan in the cliff-hanger of last May's finale. The Season 2 premiere will find him right where we left him, stuck in the middle of a nation of samurai who are about to wage war. TV Guide spoke with the Emmy nominee about tripping time, wooing the Japanese Kelly Clarkson and getting Smart.

Question: When I was a kid, my family used to always watch Perry Como Christmas specials. We loved them every year. But one thing I was never able to figure out: Who was he? Did he have his own show or something?
Answer: Not only did he have his own show, Kenny, he had several (both radio and TV), not to mention a long, successful music career. Matter of fact, Como's life in the biz was remarkable for precisely the reason you give: Like the Energizer bunny, he kept going, and going, and going — well into the rock-and-roll era, when many other crooners like him had long faded into obscurity.
Como started out, interestingly enough, as a barber when he was still in high school, but was already singing at weddings even then.
