Premise: A bizarre tough-cop satire about lawman Sledge Hammer, whose best friend is a .44 Magnum, which he talks to---even in bed. A spoof of `Dirty Harry' with a `Get Smart' feel, it delivers smart twists on pop culture (including Elvis impersonators) and good sight gags, all backed by the flawless timing of star David Rasche.
