Premise: Sister Kate Lambert was a no-nonsense nun sent to care for seven boisterous orphans (ranging in age from 7 to 16) at the diocesan Redemption House. Kate, who wasn't much of a people person---let alone the mothering type---took the job after her three predecessors were sent packing by the little angels.
