Premise: Producer Max Liebman's live, 90-minute Saturday-night showcase was an emblem of TV's golden age if ever there was one. `Show' had some music and dance, and even guest hosts, but it was the extraordinary sketch-comedy gifts of Sid Caesar, the rubber-faced Imogene Coca, great second bananas Carl Reiner and Howard Morris, and a legendary writing staff (including Mel Brooks, Larry Gelbart, Neil Simon, Lucille Kallen and Mel Tolkin) that all came together to make this an all-time classic.
