Zendaya Coleman's career is just getting started.
At just 14, Zendaya burst onto the television scene with Disney Channel's successful hit show Shake It Up. Shortly after the series ended, the California native continued to show off her dancing skills and tangoed her way to second place on Dancing with the Stars. The actress has also solidified her triple-threat status with her Billboard Top 200 self-titled debut album featuring the chart-topping song "Replay." Now, 17, Zendaya is set to headline the upcoming Disney series K.C. Undercover.
Bella Thorne has gone from Disney darling to fashion icon and movie star in the making. But one aspect of her life she says hasn't changed is her tomboy nature and penchant for messy foods.
"I eat chicken wings, I don't always sit with my legs crossed, if I'm wearing jeans, I'm sitting in the most stretched-out, comfortable position," she shares.
In our video below, the 16-year-old former Shake It Up star reveals a few more bizarrely awesome habits, another reason she's at the top of our list for the Teen Stars You Need to Know Now!
Watch Thorne's hilarious explanation:
It's a Disney disaster! Shake It Up is heading into its series finale, and fans are about to witness even more trouble than the show's end. In the final episode (airing Sunday, Nov. 10 at 9/8c), CeCe (Bella Thorne) suffers from amnesia during a Shake It Up Chicago charity fashion show that is set to star her, Rocky (Zendaya) and Tinka (Caroline Sunshine) as runway models. CeCe suffers from memory loss, and Rocky does everything she can do to help her best friend remember all of their fun times together — is anyone else predicting a series of flashback clips?
Disney Channel will air the British pre-teen supernatural series Wolfblood in October as part of its month-long "Monstober" schedule of Halloween-themed favorites.
Wolfblood centers on 14-year-old Maddy (Aimee Kelly), who has a secret: She's a "wolfblood." These creatures — neither wolf nor human — possess extraordinary strength, super speed and heightened senses.
Disney Channel will air the entire first season of Wolfblood on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8/7c from Oct. 1 through Oct. 24. In the premiere, Maddy discovers that the new boy at school, Rhydian (Bobby Lockwood), also shares her secret.
Princesses, pop stars and superheroes will be among the many Disney favorites taking over the Anaheim Convention Center on August 9—11 for the biennial D23 Expo. The celebration of all things Disney will include the stars and creators of several popular shows from the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior.
Among the big Disney Channel events being showcased are Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, a summer special in which the boys meet the superheroes of (Disney-owned) Marvel Comics; Teen Beach Movie, a live-action musical airing July 19; and Wander Over Yonder, the upcoming animated series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken and starring 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer (both of whom will be in attendance).
