Exclusive: Disney's TV Stars Take Over the D23 Expo

Princesses, pop stars and superheroes will be among the many Disney favorites taking over the Anaheim Convention Center on August 9—11 for the biennial D23 Expo. The celebration of all things Disney will include the stars and creators of several popular shows from the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior.

Among the big Disney Channel events being showcased are Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, a summer special in which the boys meet the superheroes of (Disney-owned) Marvel Comics; Teen Beach Movie, a live-action musical airing July 19; and Wander Over Yonder, the upcoming animated series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken and starring 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer (both of whom will be in attendance).

Dancing with the Stars Finale: Who Will Win?

Is Zendaya the one to beat on Dancing with the Stars? Not according to TVGuide.com voters — a whopping 59 percent of whom have pegged Kellie Pickler to take home the Mirrorball trophy. Zendaya received 27 percent, while Aly Raisman and Jacoby Jones earned 9 percent and 5 percent, respectively.

They will face off in the show's first four-couple final Monday and Tuesday with four routines: the judges' choice, the cha-cha relay and the super-sized freestyle on Monday, and the Instant Dance on Tuesday. But before they do, let's size them up.

Dancing with the Stars Boss on Recapturing the Magic (and Viewers): "It's Back to Basics"

Last fall, a longtime goal of Dancing with the Stars producers came into fruition: an all-stars season.

Thirteen alums returned, but viewers fled. The onetime ratings juggernaut delivered less-than-glittery numbers — partially due to The Voice's first fall outing siphoning eyeballs. But executive producer Conrad Green also believes it's because fans want to see dancing with new stars, not all-stars.

"Perhaps that was a miscalculation on our part. Maybe we underestimated how important it was to have a new story rather than a continuation of one," Green tells TVGuide.com. "We thought seeing old favorites come back would be really appealing, and I think it was to core fans of the show. All-Stars did deliver in terms of being able to try some new dances out, new challenges and really pushing the level of competition. I think what it lacked was the shock of the new.

Cher Signs Development Deal with Logo for 1960s-Set Series

Cher is returning to TV.

More than 30 years of co-hosting The Sonny and Cher Show, the singer-actress-gay icon has inked a development deal with Logo, the LGBT-friendly cable network announced Saturday at the winter TV previews.

"It doesn't get any more iconic than Cher," Brent Zacky, Logo's senior vice president of original programming and development, told reporters.
