Question: Do we know yet which actress is going to play Bones and Brennan's sexy new boss, Dr. Camille Saroyan, on Bones? Answer: Yes! The role has gone to the lovely Tamara Taylor. Lost fans know her as Walt's mom, but TT also had recurring gigs on NCIS, Party of Five and Dawson's Creek. She also was one of the few reasons to watch UPN's short-lived

ConvictionI've had many obsessions in my life — love, shiny jewelry, chocolate — but none as devastating as Law & Order. My addiction to Dick Wolf's franchise (save for the deservedly short-lived Trial by Jury) has distracted me from finishing freelance assignments, deprived me of adequate sleep and even chased away a boyfriend or two. That said, Wolf's new series Conviction — which technically isn't part of the L&O family, even though it stars Special Victims Unit's cast

Conviction, a series about hot young New York prosecutors, is not, sorry to say, the next great legal drama. It’s merely the next — as in (sigh) yet another.
What a weird little mutant this show is, too, with Law & Order’s Dick Wolf shifting gears, trying to mimic David E. Kelley’s style. It’s not a good fit. A far cry from Boston Legal or even The Practice, this is so clumsy in its mix of the procedural and the personal

Ivana Milicevic, Love Monkey
On Tuesday at 10pm/ET, Ed's Tom Cavanagh returns to television as the star of CBS' Love Monkey, a dramedy about Tom Farrell, a record exec whose professional life — and in turn, love life — is turned upside down when his idealism is deemed idiotic by his boss. Serving as buds to Tom are 90210's Jason Priestley, Crash's Larenz Tate, Christopher Wiehl and Judy Greer, while Ivana Milicevic plays the music-biz babe who just might cure what ails him. TVGuide.com talked to the familiar-looking femme about Monkeying around, all the "love" in her life, and her surprising Hollywood crush.
TVGuide.com: How on earth am I going to work the name Love Monkey into this Q&A's title?

CBS has picked up a D.C.-based pilot about thirtysomething staffers on Capitol Hill, tentatively titled Sex, Power, Love & Politics, by Will & Grace exec producer Greg Malins, who either has no problem conjuring up bad memories of UPN's Sex, Love & Secrets or just really likes ampersands.... NBC has made a script commitment to a fantastic and compelling — can't miss, if you ask me — one-hour drama about an expert in deprogramming brainwashed people; this show sounds fantastic and compelling — can't miss, if you ask me.

Now that the dust has settled a bit on all the 2006 mid-season changes that will be kicking in as soon as the holidays are over, here's my night-by-night scorecard of the imminent battles we'll be covering a month or so from now.
Monday
The big news is the return of 24 on Fox, with a four-hour blast January 15-16, followed by all-new episodes through the rest of the season. For the first two months, Skating with Celebrities (a rip-off of Dancing with the Stars) will be 24's lead-in. But come mid-March, Prison Break will return. What a one-two punch that promises to be!
CBS will coast along by capping off its popular comedies with

Eric Balfour
Eric Balfour, whose TV résumé includes intense arcs on 24 and Six Feet Under, is finally getting to lighten up. On UPN's Sex, Love & Secrets (airing Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET), he's playing Charlie, a player who aims to do for hairstyling what Cheers' Sam Malone did for barkeeping — a game plan that even TVGuide.com didn't deem plausible until the actor stumped us good.
TVGuide.com: You're playing a straight, womanizing hairdresser. Do you really expect people to buy into that?Eric Balfour: Yeah, didn't you ever see Shampoo?
TVGuide.com: [Awkward silence] That's true....Balfour: Wow, that was
