Premise: A four-hour adaptation of John Jakes' third Kent Family novel, in which the saga turns from the aging Revolutionary veteran Philip Kent to his two sons: Abraham, who tries various occupations; and Gilbert, who, like his father, seems content with publishing. `The Seekers' followed 1977's `The Bastard' and 1978's `The Rebels.'
