Recalling the 1918 “Spanish flu” pandemic, which killed many times more people than World War I did. A similar pandemic is “overdue,” says narrator Liev Schreiber, and “it will make the HIV outbreak almost look like a picnic,” adds British virologist John Oxford. Oxford's dire predictions aren't backed by all the experts interviewed here, but no one is taking the prospect of another “killer flu” lightly.
