Myths, unsolved mysteries and the paranormal were probed in this series, a speculative hodgepodge of historical accounts, witness comments and reenactments. Leonard Nimoy narrated the proceedings with an eerie gravity worthy of Mr. Spock, which helped offset the tacky sensationalism. The series was briefly revived by the Sci-Fi Channel in 2000.
