Premise: Hilarious and often surreal TV parodies that helped launch numerous comedy careers, including those of John Candy, Eugene Levy, Joe Flaherty, Martin Short and Andrea Martin. From its syndicated run as `Second City TV' to its network airing as `SCTV Network' to cable as `SCTV Channel,' it spawned several memorable characters, including Flaherty's talk-show host, Sammy Maudlin, and Candy's self-centered Johnny LaRue; plus unforgettable bits like the soap spoof `The Days of the Week.'
