May 3, 2007: My Cold Shower Season 6, Episode 19

Oh man, I don't know guys. I'm just not sure about this J.D. and Elliot thing. As much as I will eternally love J.D., I also have grown to adore Elliot and I don't want to see her throw away something good for J.D. if he's not serious about her. But on the other hand, I want J.D. to finally be happy. When will the madness end, people? When? By the way, this was a dynamite episode. I absolutely adored how the gang rallied around Elliot and didn't once question her do-over for the proposal. Even Jordan didn't crack a single joke about it. Well, not about the do-over, anyway. Is armpit Botox even possible, by the way? Moving on. It was cool to see how well Melody (aka the fabulous Keri Russell) knows Elliot, too. When Keith's first ring didn't fit, Melody's, "Here come the fricks," was perfectly timed. Of course, I think we all may have expected that reaction from Elliot. She's so great. So while Elliot was planning her happily-ever-after, we got to see many of the male characters' visions of what life would be like married to her. I'm sure it's no surprise, but the janitor's version of events was definitely my favorite. Their little clan of kids was so adorable. And I was with the janitor: They definitely needed "tiny charts and mops." Turk's vision was a close second, though. I even have to admit that I was marveling that he was fantasizing about his own wife. Carla was really making him crazy. But Turk wasn't the only one with a big fat "bagel" in the sex department. All of our boys were striking out. I'm not sure if the cold showers actually work, but I'd bet money that J.D.'s, "Great Aunt Judy's Arm Fat!" would work every time, for everyone. Wow, what an image. Kelso's quest for contact was pretty disturbing as well. That he was even remotely interested in Enid was downright worrisome. Someone give that man some Internet, stat! Now, the Toddwell, I don't think that's any big surprise. I did appreciate his, "It's better to have loved and lost five" with J.D., though. I think that's the most sensitivity we'll get from Todd for another year or so. Other highlights: - Goat Turk and Mermaid Melody. Really, how do you sleep with a mermaid? - J.D.'s steps for seduction: 1) Let her know you share things in common, 2) connect with her on a personal level and 3) remind her that she's all alone. Score! - Jordan calls Dr. Cox "Per-Bear." - Egyptian J.D. apparently has no "laughter in his eyes." Check out Scrubs video on our Online Video Guide. Tell your friends! show less

Premise: An engaging (and periodically serious) look at hospital work through the eyes of a young intern, coping with unusual challenges presented by colleagues as well as patients. The show is a smart mix of humor and social commentary, and has had a diverse lineup of guest stars, including Colin Hay of Men at Work, Brendan Fraser, Dick Van Dyke and, in one of his rare TV appearances since he left full-time work because of Parkinson's disease, Michael J. Fox.
