Premise: Four teens and a scaredy-cat Great Dane investigate mysteries in Hanna-Barbera cartoons about the Mystery Inc. gang. They spawned numerous series (and a good deal of merchandise), starting with this show, plus two live-action movies and a stage production. The TV franchise numbered more than 300 episodes, with such guests as Vincent Price, and Sonny and Cher. CBS also aired `The New Scooby-Doo Movies,' while ABC's titles include `The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Show' and `The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries.'
