The first Saved by the Bell vet to star in a sex tape ? Showgirls excluded ? is neither cutie "Zach" nor beefy "Slater," but Dustin "Screech" Diamond. According to the New York Daily News, the now 29-year-old actor/punch line engages in a kinky three-way with two women in a 40-minute vid tentatively titled (avert your eyes now) "Saved by the Smell" and being shopped around by celebrity-skin kingpin David Hans Schmidt. Diamond's manager, who has yet to see the actual tape, tells the News, "He has been trying to escape the Screech typecast, so this may help me get more bookings." Sure, but on what?

Sarah Lancaster, What About Brian
Sarah Lancaster recently turned 26, but she's already racked up more TV credits than most actors claim in a lifetime. Her first role was as Rachel on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Since then she's appeared on Dawson's Creek, Boston Public, That ‘70s Show, Scrubs, 7th Heaven, Six Feet Under and Everwood, to name a few. Now, the sultry beauty is the female lead in What About Brian, a new ABC series (sneak previewing Sunday at 10 pm/ET, then airing Mondays at 10) from executive producer J.J. Abrams (Lost). TVGuide.com caught up with the grizzled TV vet to find out what Brian's all about.

Question: I remember a TV show that I think was on Saturday mornings in the early '90s. I believe it was called "California Dreamin'," and it was about a group of kids in a band that performed at their local eatery. I swear Matthew Perry played the drummer on that show, shortly before he got the role on Friends. Am I completely mad?
Answer: Nope. But you're not completely correct, either. The series, California Dreams, ran on NBC for five years beginning in 1992. But the only Matt on the show was the lead character, Matt Garrison (Brent Gore).
From the same people who brought you the teen phenomenon Saved by the Bell, the series focused on a band of Redondo

Christy Carlson Romano, The Cutting Edge 2
In 1992's The Cutting Edge, Moira Kelly's ice-cold skating queen reluctantly partnered with D. B. Sweeney's fallen hockey star to pursue Olympic gold — but also find love — as a pairs team. Fourteen years later, ABC Family's The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold (premiering Sunday at 7 pm/ET, following an airing of the original) finds Kate and Doug's way-older-than-14-(but-deal-with-it) daughter, Jackie, lamenting her own shattered ice dreams, only to eventually join with Alex, an in-line skater, to seek Winter Games glory. Playing young Ms. Dorsey in this follow-up is Christy Carlson Romano, with whom TVGuide.com traded Qs and As.

Saved by the Bell grad Mario Lopez — who once donned a Speedo to play gay Olympic diving champ Greg Louganis — is now plunging into the soap suds. Lopez joins The Bold and the Beautiful's cast on March 20 as Dr. Christian Ramirez. He's the hunky younger brother of L.A. firefighter Hector Ramirez, who's played by Lorenzo Lamas. Sounds muy caliente!

SmallvilleEven though the hype factor spiked to something like 25 on a scale of 1 to 10 regarding Smallville's 100th episode (you know, the one where someone close to Clark will die!), I really tried to be good and stay spoiler-free. But, of course, that didn't stop my inquiring mind from speculating. And I felt in my gut that the doomed one was going to be either Lana or Jonathan. And when Lana died, I just knew it was too easy. That first half of the show seemed like the recent Lexmas dream: It was all very fleeting and just not real. So when Clark begged his bioDad to let Lana live, I knew Mr. Kent was in trouble. After I finally accepted the inevitable — that Jonathan was gonna die — I became a tad bit weepy. Not so much for the character, but for the actor. John Schneider

The O.C. Am I a bad person if I say I don't see the big deal about Marissa Cooper? I'm talking the character, here. Everyone who comes into contact with her puts her up on this pedestal, and all of a sudden they can't live up to the myth and the legend that is The Marissa. Remember whatshername who dated Ryan and then ended up being Kirsten's half sister? Now Caitlin is all (I'm paraphrasing), "My birthday was like the one day every year that was all mine. I mean, like, do you know what it's like to have her for a sister?" I don't get it. Change of topic. I'm just going to settle on what a great job Adam Brody is doing. Seth is spending a little quality time with an emotion called angst. He doesn't want high school to end because it's turned out (against all odds) to

Question: What's the story behind the abrupt departure of Rick Schroder from NYPD Blue? All I heard was he quit. I thought he did a good job transitioning from child star to adult actor. Did he prove it to himself and felt he had nothing more to gain from remaining in the role?
Answer: As is the case with any of these casting changes in TV Land, there are the public reasons and the private ones, Jill, and usually the only people who can tell you the difference are those directly involved.
In the case of NYPD Blue, the official reason Schroder, who came on board in Season 6, gave for leaving was the heavy shooting schedule and how much time he spent away from his family. The tabloids cited unnamed sources who claimed the real reason was that Schroder thought the show's producers were angling to replace him when they brought in another former child star, ex

Question: This isn't a difficult question, but your answer will surely settle a dispute between myself and my "know-it-all" hubby, who is a couch potato deluxe! On Just Shoot Me there was a guest appearance by (I say) Tiffany Ann Bethusan. That's probably misspelled. She was the gal on Saved by the Bell when she was younger. Hubby says it's not the same Tiffany — it's someone else. Can you let me know? I missed the credits! Help! Thanks so much.
Answer: Well you just tell hubby that with his off-the-mark observations, that "deluxe" title applies to time spent watching, not breadth or depth of knowledge. (You, however, get points for admitting when your spelling is wonky — and for attempting to sound the young lady's name out.)
Yes, that was Tiffani Thiessen (she dropped the Amber recently), f
