Sally Jessy Raphael on KSDK

The Emmy-winning host with the familiar red-rimmed glasses interviewed guests and celebrities, and fielded questions from the audience. The series bowed as a local St. Louis show in 1983 and went national the next year, later moving its base to New York. It ran for a remarkable 19 years.
