Premise: 8 pm/ET ESPN2 In addition to disco, disaster movies and All in the Family, the '70s were a heyday for horse racing. In the same decade that saw three Triple Crown winners, Ruffian made her case as the greatest filly ever in the Sport of Kings. Her captivating rise to prominence and a perfect racing record (10-0) under trainer Frank Whitely (played by Sam Shepard) is recaptured in this ESPN Original Entertainment drama, which climaxes with the moving Belmont Park match race against 1975 Kentucky Derby winner Foolish Pleasure.
