Question: I really enjoy your column and appreciate your insights. You've done well for me over the past few years, suggesting great shows that I really loved including Friday Night Lights, Lost, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Good Wife. I even watched the entire series of Fringe on Netflix based upon your recommendation. Now though, nothing looks that great for this coming fall. Can you tell me if there is something coming that is worth adding to my list? — Julie
Boris' move to buy Hamptons Heritage and invite the entire HankMed team to be on the board of directors may have caught Royal Pains fans by surprise, but behind the scenes, it was a long time coming.
"This was a twist that we initially planned to put in last season's finale. It didn't quite feel like the right time to do it, but we loved the idea," co-creator and executive producer Andrew Lenchewski tells TVGuide.com. "We loved that it could really be a satisfying payoff for everything that Boris and Hank have been going through together, and we also loved that it could really platform a lot of great things to come with Boris at the helm of Hamptons Heritage."
But what does this mean for the HankMed team since...

13. Best Response: In case you were living under a rock, or, you know, watching something else on TV Monday night, Gwen Stefani took a page from John Travolta's book and totally mispronounced Stephen Colbert's last name when she presented at the Emmys. Even though Colbert had already pre-taped his Tuesday show last week, the host still gets in a small jab at the much-discussed gaffe in the blink-and-you'll-miss-it opening credits, in which "Colbore" comes across the screen next to other descriptive words like "honorable," "star-spangled" and...
Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick
The Kardashians are coming!
Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick, who have been in the Hamptons this summer filming their upcoming E! show Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, will play themselves on the season finale of Royal Pains (Tuesday, 9/8c, USA).
Although this marks their first time on the series, the exclusive sneak peek...
Our top moments of the week:
13. Best Affair to Remember: Bachelor in Paradise goes behind the scenes when contestant Michelle K. hooks up with a sound guy. But when producers find out and knock on their door, the sound guys freaks out and takes a page from a romantic comedy by jumping off the balcony. Wait, it gets better: He breaks his ankles. Interviewing him in the hospital Chris Harrison makes a point to ask...

Bill can't die! I know everyone does on True Blood, but please tell me that he takes the cure. — Andrea
With only two episodes to go, there are a lot of narrative threads to tie up, including the issue of Bill's mortality. I will only say this: At least one original cast member will say goodbye for good this week. In possibly related news, a longstanding love triangle will be resolved and you'll see one of the show's weirdest — and funniest — sex scenes between a long-unrequited pair.
I can't believe they're already giving DiNozzo a new love interest on NCIS. — Susan

Who says Paris is the most romantic city in the world? The Big Apple gives the City of Light some serious competition for that title on Tuesday's episode of Royal Pains (9/8c, USA).
After undergoing her first corneal transplant surgery, Charlotte (Gillian Alexy) and Hank (Mark Feuerstein) enjoy an...
A skilled physician tired of the hospital system goes out on his own as a concierge doctor-for-hire in an affluent locale. Sound familiar? While the protagonist of USA's new medical drama series Rush bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Hank from the network's long-running hit Royal Pains, a closer examination reveals the two couldn't be more...
