The Bishop of Herfort is afraid that if Robin makes a move against the Baron, it could cause the date of Much's coronation to be moved forward. Meanwhile, the rest of the band have collected all the necessary allies to fight the Baron. Much is then crowned and about to give Alwyn absolute power, but Robin shows up just in time!
In order to celebrate Much's imminent coronation, Baron Alwyn orders that a new road be built, however, his plan soon runs into difficulty. To begin with, the Bishop of Herfort refuses to kill Count John and flees to Sherwood Forest to enlist the help of Robin. Robin has had enough of the continuous oppression against the common people, and decides to confront the Baron once and for all.
Robin realizes something has happened to Little John and his band, and fears that they have fallen into the Baron's hands. Obviously, he is unaware that the Baron is going to use Little John to capture him. A series of coincidences makes Baron Alwyn aware that Much has a birth mark in the shape of a bull on his behind. The Baron comes up with a despicable plan.
Baron Alwyn's soldiers capture Little John and his band, thanks to two vandals on the Baron's payroll, who go around the village pretending to be Will and Robin. The Baron orders that the prisoners be immediately executed, but he is so impressed by Little John's fearless attitude towards death, that he pardons them on the condition that they enroll in the royal guard.
