The Joy of Sets: When Heath Ledger Roared and Thunderbirds Soared!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s...Supermarionation!Yes, yes, childrens, the weirdest show we all totally dig now is out in a brand spanking new set and I, for one, am both thrilled and a little bit ascared. Premise: In 5th-century Ireland, a Celtic prince becomes a rebel leader after the killing of his family. `Roar' didn't make much noise (it came and went in the summer of 1997); a pity because executive producer Shaun Cassidy's well-mounted adventure effectively combined action and romance with mysticism and magic.
