Ripley's Believe It or Not! on NBC

Strange stories and people with unusual talents were highlighted in this series, which was based on Robert Ripley's newspaper feature. Originally titled `Believe It or Not,' the program ran on NBC from 1949 to 1950 (with Ripley as the host during the first season) before being reincarnated on ABC in 1982. The new version was hosted by Jack Palance, whose cohosts included singer Marie Osmond and Palance's daughter Holly. A later version was hosted by Dean Cain.
