p>Daytime talk show hosts and celebs across the country are voicing their sentiments on Tuesday's historic victory for President-Elect Barack Obama.
Right off the bat, morning show hosts Regis Philbin and a very patriotic Kelly Ripa (wearing an American flag dress) had the crowds on their feet. "Let's hear it for our new president," shouted Regis to get the audience going. "It's time, really, for everyone to unite behind this young guy ...

Looks like someone has been hittin' the lasagna tray a few too many times. Meet Princess Chunk. The 44-pound kitty was found wandering the streets of New Jersey and made its television debut Thursday on Regis and Kelly where an expert was called in to determine the sex of Chunk (let's just say the cat was so "round" the gender wasn't exactly discernable to the untrained eye). Seriously though, what could a stray cat consume to get that big? Small children? Watch it now! | More online videos

Morning show co-host Kelly Ripa may be know for her super-fit bod, but turns out her calves of steel were no match for the other runners at the Regis and Kelly High Heel-a-thon that took place Wednesday in Central Park. One hundred plus women (and a few brave men) strapped on their most comfy pumps (now there's an oxymoron) and sprinted a 150-yard dash in them. The Reege didn't compete, but that must have been because he wanted to let someone else win what a guy!

During an interview yesterday morning on Regis and Kelly, the latest ousted-Idol, Kristy Lee Cook, revealed a sad bit of news to Reeg. After she sold her beloved horse, Montana, to pay for her trip to the Idol auditions, she figured she'd go back for the horse post-competition with no issue retrieving her buddy. But wouldn't you know it, Kristy Lee has tried and the guy won't sell. She should definitely cage-fight him for custody (you'll get the joke after you watch the video)!Your take: Do you think the buyer should in a sense 'have a heart' and sell Kristy her horse back since it's only been a short time? Or do you think the buyer's in the right?

In a recent appearance as a guest host on Regis and Kelly, CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper got a bit red in the face during one of Kelly Ripas segments where she demonstrated some work out moves. All we know is that Coopers agent must have gotten a good talkin to because he was definitely not feelin' the Ripalicious thigh dancing routine that he was expected to participate in! Your take: Think Anderson was just being a poor sport about it, or would his cred have been diminished if he actually started doing those pelvic thrusts on national television?

Kelly Ripa is expected back on Live Wednesday, after falling ill during today's taping on location in the Bahamas. "She had a little stomach flu, I gather," Regis tells TV's Extra. "I thought she was pretty brave to... try to finish the show, but under the sun and everything, I guess she got a litle warm. But we're expecting her back."This is where the tabloids turn Pipa's stomach flu into a "New Baby on the Way!" headline coupled with a photo of her in a blousy T-shirt.

Jimmy Kimmel by Bob D'Amico/ABC
Imagine finding out youre fired by reading about it in the New York Times. Thats just what happened to ABC late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel, who kept colleagues and fans laughing as a guest on the long-running sports show Monday Night Football on Oct. 15."I guess the executive producer was upset with some jokes I made on the air, and Im still not sure which ones, but he announced to the New York Times that I was banned from Monday Night Football," says Kimmel. "I was surprised I was just a guest [commentator] this is the first time Ive been fired from a job I didnt have."Kimmel adds, "I dont feel I owe anyone an apology; quite the reverse, actually. Everyone seemed really happy in the booth and [then] I left and then I read in the New York Times that hes banned me.""That is synergy in action," jokes Kimmel on learning about his ban through the newspaper. "He told the newspaper before he told me he still hasnt...
