Red Hand Gang

Saturday-morning live-action adventures of five preteen detectives. Only 12 epsiodes were made (most of them cliff-hangers), but the series became something of a cult hit in Britain. The gang's dog, Boomer, went on to star in the 1980-82 NBC series `Here's Boomer.' Aired as part of an NBC live-action block along with `Thunder' and `Search and Rescue: The Alpha Team.'
