Astronaut David Lister survives a disaster in space that wipes out the crew of the mining ship Red Dwarf in this BBC production. However, Lister is not alone. A hologram of his dead bunkmate Arnold and a creature that was once the ship's cat join him in his journey toward Earth. Along the way, they're joined by a robot and a woman from a parallel universe.
