HBO executives, while admittedly not the biggest fantasy genre fans, say they love Game of Thrones. Just don't try to get them to commit to it in perpetuity.

Reporters at the network's fall TV preview session Thursday did anyway, questioning whether or not the network would stick closely to George R. R. Premise: A talk show about current events with the former host of 'Politically Incorrect.' This weekly late-night forum is a virtual clone of 'P.I.,' with some Maher stand-up and a similarly diverse lineup of informed panelists, but this being HBO, the language is a good deal more blunt. In addition to the roundtable discussions, the show also features topical interviews with in-studio and satellite guests.
