With one month to go before the wedding, Whitney is feeling the pressure over the decor, invitations and logistics galore. Sara, on the other hand, is floating along, causing tensions to rise and eventually combust when a certain someone tries to take over the planning. Somer finds herself in the middle of a Hunter Valentine ambush, causing her and Donna to revisit the idea of putting aside her music career for a baby crib and diapers. Lauren packs her bags and jets off to New York to find out if her infatuation with Kiyomi is more than just a Dinah romance. It's time for Romi's music video shoot with Dusty, but Kelsey's discomfort and rising suspicions cause her to storm out in the middle of filming. Charlie's original due date is upon them, and Cori and Kacy seek help from a therapist. While it's a bittersweet sorrow to watch them say goodbye to Charlie one last time, they are greeted with a surprise the next morning that sends their smiles soaring. Franny invites Khristianne and some of the girls over for dinner and reveals that she wants to come out to her traditional Japanese mother. The girls encourage Franny to take the plunge, but it's not that easy. Japanese culture demands conformity; discussion of sexuality is taboo. And no matter how much Franny craves an open relationship with her parents, the thought of shaming them terrifies her all the more. watch

Showtime Sets House of Lies Premiere, Dexter Crosses With Dan Brown

Showtime's raunchy comedy House of Lies will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 8, between the returns of Shameless and Californication, Showtime's president of entertainment announced to TV critics during fall previews Thursday.

"We're not an advertiser environment, so we have the ability to push the limits," David Nevins said. "Beneath [the show]'s glossy, fancy prettiness is a really subversive show. It's an R-rated comedy that's really addictive in a way that no one else can get away with."

True Blood
9/8c HBO
Driving a stake through the heart of the lover of the king of Mississippi may not have been the wisest career move for Eric, but when it's compared to Russell's casual decapitation of the Magister, well, at least he did it in part to avenge his family's death. In any case, vampires killing vampires can't be considered good PR, especially with the passage of an equal-rights amendment in the offing, and you can bet that's what's on spokes-bloodsucker Nan Flanagan's mind when she stops by Fangtasia looking for answers.

True Blood
9 pm/ET HBO
So Bill tattled to Russell about Eric's dealing of "V"; Eric lied about Bill doing the same to save his (and Pam's) hide from the Magister; and Russell slipped into German while feeding his own blood to a bar full of crazed werewolves with vague Nazi overtones. Ten days ago, True Blood earned an Outstanding Drama Series Emmy nomination for its second season, and halfway through its third, with this year's wildly intriguing story lines starting to come together, it's probably well on the way to another. — Joe Friedrich
