The Office

The Office
9/8c NBC
Jim and Pam's Niagara Falls wedding two episodes past was quite the special humdinger — their clandestine exchange of rings aboard the wet-and-wild Maid of the Mist boat, next to the pounding pour of the falls, was the memorable kicker. Now dry, our newly married twosome return from their honeymoon haven tonight, only to get walloped with rough reality. That comes courtesy of Michael, who delivers stunning news regarding the identity of his newest sweetheart. Meanwhile, Dwight, looking to atone for years of tormenting Jim, makes a bizarre peace offering to his office nemesis.

Hank has his hands full tonight with Tucker's not-so-cooperative dad (played by Andrew McCarthy), who attempts to kick his drug-and-alcohol problem by undergoing a rapid detox program. X Games
9/8 CT ESPN
The Los Angeles area has been without the NFL since 1995, which oddly enough was Year 1 of the X Games, the Super Bowl of action sports that has become a SoCal signature every summer at the Home Depot Center and Staples Center. The fit between event and locale is as flawless as a perfectly landed trick on a skateboard, motorcycle or BMX bike, of which you'll see plenty over 15 hours of live coverage the next four days. Skateboard Big Air and Moto X Step Up (like pole-vaulting on a motorcycle) highlight the opening night, with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk joining host Sal Masekela for all the adrenaline-filled commentary.
