Premise: TV adaptation of the Broadway revival of Lorraine Hansberry's 1959 play about a black clan's struggles on Chicago's South Side in the wake of the death of the family patriarch. Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, Sanaa Lathan, Sean Combs. Film directorial debut for Kenny Leon, who also helmed the Broadway revival.
