Bryan Fuller has left Heroes... again.
Fuller says he's leaving this time to work on other projects because of time constraints — not due to any creative differences with Heroes creator Tim Kring.

Despite critical acclaim and a devoted following, Pushing Daisies lives up to its name as tonight's series finale represents the final nail in the coffin of cancellation by ABC. But as one might expect, it's going out in style, especially when Vivian and Lily reunite as the synchronized-swimming duo Darling Mermaid Darlings after tragedy strikes a water circus. Pushing Daisies
Pushing Daisies
10 pm/ET ABC
Life imitates art on Pushing Daisies — the show was yanked from ABC's schedule last year and subsequently canceled, but it's come back to life to deliver three more episodes before shuffling off to the great beyond. In tonight's episode, Chuck and Emerson make for a strange sleuthing pair when Ned announces that he doesn't want to use his otherworldly powers to solve crimes anymore. Meanwhile, Olive faces the consequences of a youthful prank gone awry: The kidnappers she hired to abduct her as a child (she just wanted more attention from her parents) are back! Richard Benjamin and George Segal guest star as the kidnappers.

Pushing Daisies
Pushing Daisies is back!
Well, for three weeks anyway, as ABC fulfills its promise to the fans to schedule the three unaired episodes. The end of the Daisies drama unspools over the next three Saturdays at 10 pm/ET.
The facts were these: Some time in December 2008, after months of disappointing ratings, ABC pulled the plug on our beloved Pushing Daisies. Shortly after its cancellation, the network atoned by announcing that it would air the three unaired episodes at a later date, probably over the summer. It was even reported that series creator Bryan Fuller (who has since decamped for his other baby, Heroes) was given the opportunity to recut the season-finale episode so that it could act more like a series finale.
Which is all well and good, but... does anyone even remember what was happening on Pushing Daisies back in December?

Pushing Daisies
This could have been a really mean April Fools' Day prank, but luckily it isn't.
Warner Home Video has announced a release date for Pushing Daisies' complete second season on DVD and Blu-ray. The set hits stores on July 21, finally making it easy as, uh, pie, for diehard fans to see the three episodes ABC will not air. (Those episodes are also being screened for PaleyFest attendees in L.A. on April 19th.)
The four-disc set (two discs for Blu-ray) will feature all 13 Season 2 episodes, as well as featurettes on creator Bryan Fuller's vision, composer Jim Dooley's music and the magic created by the visual effects team. You can pick up your copy for $39 on DVD and $49 for Blu-ray.
Are you excited to finally see those remaining episodes?
