Ratings: Runway Finishes Strong, CBS Topples ABC

Project Runway

Project Runway wrapped its first season on Lifetime with season-best numbers.

The Season 6 Runway finale was watched by 4.2 million viewers, topping the night amongst the cable competition. That number was roughly 500,000 people fewer than Season 5's finale on Bravo.

The return of Red John on The Mentalist (15.8 million viewers) was the night's most-watched show, building on solid numbers from CSI (15 million viewers) and Survivor: Samoa (12. 3 million viewers.)

All of the networks' numbers were down, but ABC took the hardest hit... read more

Will Althea win with her giant knits and sci-fi inspired looks? Or will Carol Hannah rally after her stomach flu to come up with a 13th look that woos the masses? Perhaps Irina will take the prize and finally win her father's approval after all these years?

Ryan Howard refuses to be a heavy hitter (as opposed to the other Ryan Howard, the Phillies' home-run king). Once a corporate young gun who rose to the top echelon of Dunder Mifflin, Ryan's fall from grace landed him right back to low-rung status in Scranton. Now he's bitter, lazy, biding time, and refusing to do work. This, of course, grabs the attention of cocaptain Jim, who clashes with the ace slacker. But in the main event, bigwig David Wallace (Andy Buckley) summons a jubilant Michael to attend a shareholders meeting in New York City. Tagging along on the trip: Andy, Dwight and Oscar.

After last week's museum-inspired challenge, many Project Runway fans were not too thrilled that the judges eliminated Gordana Gehlhausen even though her dress was believed to be one of the best designs on the catwalk.
