You raised the question last week, so answer it. Will there be a Visitor-human birth on V? — Jim
MICKEY: We already know that Morris Chestnut's Ryan Nichols has a human lovah, but I'm hearing that a different human-V coupling will produce a bouncing baby reptile. Morena Baccarin, who plays Anna, the creepy-hot leader of the Visitors, is coy on the matter, but says it's definitely a possibility. There's your breaking news, Chad Decker.

V: Sit down with Visitors' leader Morena Baccarin

I loved the Arizona-centric episode of Grey's Anatomy. What's next for her? — Lori

I'd like to know if there will be an evolution in the Abby/Gibbs relationship on NCIS this season. — Lucia
ADAM: Are you one of those Gabby 'shippers? Because if so, ew. In any case, executive producer Shane Brennan sounds delighted about an arc he has planned for Abby this season — and says Gibbs plays a big part in it. "[Abby] does have a special relationship with Gibbs, [who has changed] because of the journey he has taken over the past two-and-a-half seasons," Brennan says. "Most people will see that Gibbs smiles more now; he's kind of warming up. There's certainly more to learn about the relationship between Gibbs and Abby, and we play toward that in this special arc of Abby's."

Private Practice

Private Practice
10:01/9:01c ABC
All was hardly well when we left Oceanside Wellness in May: Violet lay dying after her disturbed patient Katie had literally cut the baby from her womb and made off with him. Season 3 begins tonight with Amy Brenneman still in the cast. As for Violet's suitors (Pete won, remember), check out the Pete-Sheldon body language during their hospital vigil. But don't expect any romantic developments involving Addison and Noah: She's too busy in the ER to have time for much else.

Private Practice Is Bloody Brilliant

Private Practice

Private Practice returns to ABC (Oct. 1, 10/9c) with a bloody good premiere. Yes, it's good. And yes, it's very bloody.

When we last saw Violet (Amy Brenneman), she was being chopped up by her psycho patient, who wanted to steal her baby. The beginning of the premiere kicks off seconds later and — spoiler alert — Violet lives.

Check out the latest Private Practice photos

How does the attack affect the members of the Oceanside Wellness Center, which was also left in pieces? Paul Adelstein reveals the aftermath of that fateful night and also talks about the baby daddy, new relationships and another possible Grey's Anatomy crossover.

TVGuide.com: Cooper has always been there for Violet, but will she let him be so close after what happens in the season premiere?
Paul Adelstein: She certainly has some emotional and psychological obstacles to get over before she can let anybody in... read more

How serious is Kitty's illness on Brothers & Sisters? Nora looked really upset in the promos. — Bev
ADAM: Nora has plenty of reason to sob: Kitty's ailment is of the life-threatening variety. But before anyone can focus on her grim prognosis, Kitty will have to break the news to Robert, who is in the midst of his own health-related crisis.

I can't wait to see how Katherine gets her revenge on Susan on Desperate Housewives. — Kelly
MICKEY: I'm with you, Kelly! The thought of a brooding, bilious Dana Delany makes my cold, black heart sing as well, but my mole tells me that Susan will not takes things lying down. Just as she did at her wedding, Susan will confront Katherine at every turn, which will be problematic when... read more

Will we get an update on how Sara and Grissom are doing when Jorja Fox returns to CSI? — Michael
ADAM:
What kind of an update are you looking for, Jennifer? A big one? OK, then: Sara and Gil got hitched! Unfortunately, it sounds like married life doesn't suit Sara. "I think she's struggling a little bit with being a housewife," Marg Helgenberger says, explaining why Mrs. Grissom returns to the team. "She comes [to help us] from Paris, where her husband is giving some kind of a lecture series." Come on, Gil — PowerPoints bore everyone, especially wives.

Mega Buzz on Grey's, Heroes, 90210, Lost and More!

T.R. Knight (Grey's Anatomy), Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and Jeremy Davies (Lost)

Every week, senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com

Is there anything to report about the new season of Grey's Anatomy? — Jenny
MATT: I know there's been talk that Season 6 might pick up a few months after the nail-biting May finale, but sources tell me that's not the case. In fact, the Sept. 24 opener will find both Izzie and disfigured George still coding — and as anyone following the headlines can tell you, T.R. Knight isn't returning to the cast. Over the two-hour premiere, watch for the outcome of this traumatic scenario to weigh heavily on a lot of people — including at least one doctor whose reaction you may have taken for granted. (See related casting exclusive.)

Heroes' Greg Grunberg has hinted that Matt's super-powered son may not have gotten all his powers from daddy. Is Janice a hero, too? — Curtis
TIM: Maybe so, says ... read more

Tim Daly Wants "Nothing But Trouble" for Private Practice's Pete

Tim Daly

In its second season, ABC's Private Practice prescribed much growth for Pete Wilder. Originally introduced as a bad boy for Addison to lust after, Tim Daly's alter ego has since been revealed to have a noble past as a member of Doctors Without Borders. What's more, when a fling with Violet caught afire and resulted in pregnancy, Pete stepped up to profess his paternal leanings. TVGuide.com invited Daly to reflect on the character's evolution, as well as wish for Wilder days ahead.

TVGuide.com: When we spoke at the start of Season 2, you had certain hopes for Pete's trajectory. How satisfied were you with how things actually played out?
Tim Daly: I was pretty happy. He remains rather mysterious, and he seems to be vacillating between being a lothario and someone who wants to have a more meaningful relationship. We left him making a strong play for Violet, and in a very earnest way. I'm not sure where he's going to wind up, but ... read more
